Martijn Joling (b.1991, The Netherlands) started his career as a Dutch rapper. He switched focus to dance/performance art, studied creative & cultural performance, and received a BA of Modern Theatre Dance from Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2014. Martijn has worked a.o. for State Theatre Braunschweig, Bodytalk & Dancelab Berlin. and he just moved from Berlin to Oslo. Joling is influenced by his surroundings, and multiple backgrounds inspire him to interact with a variety of different medias, incl. scenography, installations, film, music and poetry. His choreographic work is presented in Spain, Egypt, Japan, The Netherlands, Poland and Norway.
